  • Yes, we offer secure virtual therapy sessions, allowing you to connect with your therapist from the comfort of your home. Virtual therapy is available for most types of sessions, including individual and couples therapy.

  • Your first session is an opportunity to get to know your therapist and share what brings you to therapy. You’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and background to help your therapist understand your needs. This session is also a time to ask questions, discuss therapy options, and set a plan for moving forward.

  • Our Intake team works closely with you to understand your needs, preferences, and goals. Based on this information, we will recommend a therapist who specializes in the areas you wish to focus on.

  • Yes, all therapy sessions are confidential. We adhere to strict ethical guidelines and privacy laws to protect your information. The only exceptions are situations involving safety concerns or legal requirements, which your therapist will discuss with you.

  • Individual therapy involves one-on-one sessions with a therapist, focusing on your personal experiences, challenges, and goals. Group therapy brings together individuals with shared concerns or goals to discuss and process their experiences in a supportive group setting led by a therapist. Both formats can be effective and are often used in combination to enhance personal growth and healing.

  • We are committed to respecting our clients’ chosen names and pronouns. However, insurance claims typically require the use of legal names. We ensure your chosen name is used in all client communications, and only your legal name is shared with insurance providers for billing purposes. If you have concerns, our Billing team is happy to work with you to navigate this process.

  • Most sessions are 50 minutes long. However, initial intake sessions may be slightly longer to allow for a comprehensive assessment of your needs.

  • We accept a variety of major insurance plans for therapy and psychiatric care. Our Billing team can help verify your benefits and ensure you understand what is covered under your plan. If we are not in-network with your insurance, we can provide you with a superbill for potential reimbursement.

  • Many insurance plans cover group therapy, but coverage may vary depending on your plan and provider. Our Billing team can check your insurance benefits to determine what is covered and inform you of any out-of-pocket costs.

  • We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee.
