Leora Mandel LMSW

Leora Mandel (She/Her) is a Licensed Master Social Worker who obtained her MSW from Fordham University. She specializes in helping teens and adults who navigate obstacles related to ADHD, depression, complex trauma, creative blocks, attachment patterns, self-esteem and self-discovery, chronic pain, and major life changes.

Leora has extensive experience working with survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault, with neurodiverse clients, and within LGBTQ+ and kink+ communities. Her clients know they will be accepted just as they are, and that this remains true even when who they are is in a state of fluctuation. As a fierce advocate for her clients, Leora has written supportive documents for gender-affirming surgeries, immigration applications, and work/school accommodations. Her background in creative writing and musical performance enriches her connections with artists traversing the unique joys and frustrations that accompany creative disciplines. Each session with Leora ends with setting a goal, intention, or strategy for the coming week.
